Canton of Vaud – Application Migration and Tax Form Scanning

ELCA was mandated by the Direction des Systèmes d’Information to assess a possible migration scenario for two applications developed in COOL:Gen to a modern Java/web technology. ELCA’s previous experience with the migration of an application for penal establishments using the same technologies was a significant advantage in this consulting assignment.

Still in the migration domain, ELCA worked in partnership with Bedag to migrate a tax form scanning and processing solution that was installed in 2004, to the newest version of FreeMind by Itesoft. This new version offers a more modern user interface and opens up a wealth of new opportunities for future enhancements.
