newsystem® public wins SSGI tender with ELCA as technology partner

ELCA Informatik AG wins together with Information Technology & Trust AG (IT&T AG) one of the largest tenders to date in the towns and municipalities sector.

The “Verein Schweizerische Städte- und Gemeindeinformatik” (Association of Swiss Towns and Municipalities Information Technology, SSGI) has organised in the last few months for its ca. 290 members (towns and municipalities) an extensive public invitation to tender for a new, flexible and future-oriented information technology solution for municipalities and cantons. It is the largest invitation to tender in the municipal sector which has ever been issued for an IT project. Based on a clearly structured and very detailed evaluation process, the integrated overall solution for public administrations, newsystem® public, supplemented by products and services of ELCA, was chosen as the winner.

The solution package integrates state-of-the-art, future-oriented technologies and architectures at very economic conditions.

As a sub-supplier ELCA accounts for the development of the integration layer based on Microsoft BizTalk Server as well as the new online counter for the simple and comfortable and processing of authority procedures via the internet (including authentication with SuisseID, secure payment transactions, and much more).
