Sanitas – Mail Solution

Sanitas operates in the highly competitive health insurance sector, where efficiency and customer satisfaction are key success factors. ELCA worked closely with Sanitas to develop an electronic ePost solution with efficient central scanning of incoming mail, indexing and routing of the resulting e-documents, online availability of e-dossiers independent of location, and archiving in a system based on EMC technologies.

This strategically important project was realised in several phases, and the application is running to the client’s full satisfaction. More than 16,000 documents are scanned daily and processed faster than before, thanks to an optical character recognition rate of around 90%. Typically, 400 users are active at once, with as many as 600 at peak times.
