Partnership with SwissDRG sees ELCA expand its presence in the area of healthcare

ELCA is delighted to announce its latest partnership with SwissDRG AG, the institution responsible for the realisation of the flat rate payment system, SwissDRG (Swiss Diagnosis Related Groups). This new price system for in-patient hospital services, which in accordance with the last review of the Swiss Federal Law on Health Insurance (KVG) will govern the payment of in-patient hospital services according to flat rates, will be introduced on 1 January 2012

The SwissDRG Grouper software provides end users of the SwissDRG system (hospitals, cantonal authorities and health and accident insurers) an automatic cost calculation including a flat rate catalogue and invoicing rules.

As a licensed IT partner of SwissDRG we are thus able to offer comprehensive advisory and development services for end users on a first-hand basis. Our clients benefit from our broad experience in the field of healthcare: We are providing considerable support during the development of Sumex II – a fully-automated invoice processing system that is currently used by more than 30 health insurance companies and hospitals and in which the Grouper software will be seamlessly integrated. We are also involved in various Swiss e-health initiatives and several projects in the area of healthcare.
