The Global Fund – CRM solution

The Global Fund is an international financing institution that works with several organisations around the world to support large-scale prevention, treatment and care programmes against AIDS, tuberculosis and malaria.

In 2009, the organisation mandated ELCA to provide a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) solution to centralise the management of partners’ contact data. In 2010 they asked us to extend the CRM solution to allow partners from 140 countries to update their own contact data, thus improving data quality and freeing-up administration time for other activities.

Our extensive experience with CRM and extranet infrastructures meant we were able to recommend a cost-efficient approach using standard solutions enhanced with custom developments as appropriate.
