Application Management
A new service in the range offered by ELCA. We help our customers to manage the constantly growing system requirements regarding availability and administration of applications and solutions.
Application management is a task with increasing importance for companies and therefore for our customers. The aim is to avoid problems such as poor alignment of the objectives of the IT department with those of the company, redundant system functionality, long operating times and poor system availability.
Definition. Application management involves the comprehensive administration and complex management of software applications. It is aligned with the strategically important business objectives, runs through the life cycle of applications such as application development and service management, and ends with the decommissioning of a software application.
Concept. In order to offer services beyond application and solutions development, ELCA decided to establish the “Application Management” division in 2007. Services from this division form a complement to the existing service portfolio of ELCA adapted to customer needs in the out-tasking, managed services and application outsourcing environment.
Planning. The first customers have been benefitting from this new service since the end of 2007. As well as setting up a professional Customer Contact Centre, ELCA plans in the next phase to expand its service portfolio.
