ELCA Informatik AG wins mandate for e-platform in Graubünden

14 November 2008

ELCA Informatik AG is expanding its activities in eastern Switzerland with the mandate for an e-platform for the Graubünden tourism region.

The ambitious project was awarded to ELCA due to, among other things, its wide range of offerings in the areas of consulting, software development and system integration. The mandate extends over at least one and a half years and comprises consulting, architectural and project management work.

With the "Graubünden electronic tourism platform", the Graubünden tourism region aims to offer interested parties and visitors an innovative and user-friendly module which makes the offers and services of the various providers available via the tourism platforms in Graubünden. On the other hand, the project is intended to improve the distribution of Graubünden tourism offerings on the market. All this is to be accomplished while taking into consideration the interests of the different partners involved in the project: the Rhätische Bahn (RhB), Weissen Arena AG Films/Laax, Davos-Klosters, Engadin-St. Moritz and Graubünden Ferien.

ELCA is thereby not only manifesting its presence in eastern Switzerland but also in the public sector in Switzerland as a whole, where the Lausanne-based IT service provider is actively involved in various projects. At the eGovernment Symposium on 18 November 2008 in Berne, ELCA will be involved as a technical partner among other things, and is responsible for online ticketing.
