Swiss Army – MIL Office

ELCA was mandated to contribute to the realisation of the army’s new MIL Office 4 application. MIL Office is an application used in the military schools and on training courses at the unit or battalion level. ELCA created an army personnel management module as well as a module for planning unit activities. The application was developed in .NET based on a framework provided by the client.

Outstanding features of this project included ELCA’s rapid deployment of a development team including technical experts and business specialists, and our very close working relationship with the end users. In fact, with a user base of 14,000 army personnel for this application, the project required collaboration with several organisational units. ELCA was also involved in the deployment phase and field trials as well as in training instructors and end users.
