Secure your business data by taking back control!

Nowadays, most of corporations have moved their data and services to the digital world. With the rise of cloud services and the lack of data governance, they may be puzzled about how to effectively protect their data. Thus, news regularly relate to ransomware and intrusion attacks which lead to sensitive data leakage. Victims of those attacks are highly impacted, on both their reputation and their business.

Indeed, information security program often focuses on network, server and application security. Such an approach implies that corporations lose control on their data and adopt an information security strategy that is disconnected from business objectives.
During our joint event with our partners SailPoint, Securosys and United Security Providers, we will address data governance and protection in order to concentrate on what is really important for corporations: their data!
The main covered topics in the upcoming event in February are:

  • What is data governance?
  • What are the technical means to ensure data protection?
  • What are the legal obligations coming from the different laws (GDPR, Swiss law on data protection, Electronic patient record (EPR), FINMA)?

Where identity meets data - Data access governance solutions for the enterprise

Nicola Venditti, Partner Enablement Manager, Europe – SailPoint

When it comes to defining your cyber security posture, insider threat is one of the major considerations. The changing face of enterprise IT is blurring the boundary between internal and external users and causing us to reconsider our security paradigms. In addition, new legislations such as GDPR are forcing organisations to understand more about the information being processed by the Business and how this can be better protected. One of the areas most impacted by these changes is what we call ‘unstructured data’.
