The center in Mauritius, founded in 2018, complements the existing strategic centers in Vietnam and Spain (Granada) and ensures access to an additional pool of talent to support our growth. It also increases the resilience of ELCA’s shoring platform, providing additional capacity and resources to our Swiss operations.
Mauritius is defined by Gartner as a “Contender country, with distinctive or idiosyncratic benefits that may offer a competitive advantage to specific buyers” such as ELCA. The country offers competitive labor costs and a stable political environment with many workers bilingual in English and French and only 2 hours’ time difference from Switzerland. In these centers – as in all ELCA locations – we implemented ELCA’s proven way of working and have focused on instilling ELCA’s “We make it work” mindset and high-quality DNA. ELCA’s shoring platform is a strong, resilient and high-quality delivery capability based on three strategic centers – Vietnam, Spain and Mauritius – that strengthens ELCA, increases its robustness and sets the basis for an even stronger ELCA in the years to come.
