Banking Senior Consultant – Financial Services

As a Banking Senior Consultant, you will play a central role in our Client’s success in tackling their strategic digital transformation path. You will be an advisor and will bring thought-leadership, working with our Client’s C-suite to shape and define a vision and an actionable strategy for Digital Transformation.
In this role you will bridge Business and IT. Your interlocutors will be the CXOs within our Client’s organization.
You will expand strategic relationships with key industry players building upon your networking skills, and leveraging Elca’s distinctive value propositions and excellence.
As part of Elca’s Financial Services Advisory, your extensive experience within the Financial Services and your passion for and expertise in digital and technology applied to FS will be foundational in supporting and working with our Clients at a strategic level. Your focus will be on business, embracing the new role digital and technology now have in determining and forming new business models, with innovative products and services. You shall bring the necessary expertise and leadership to forge and accelerate the Digital Transformation strategy for our Clients.
Responsibilities:
With an extensive experience in the Financial Services industry, you will join Elca’s Financial Services Advisory in supporting our Clients by:
- Understanding the Client’s overall corporate vision and needs, and assessing their as-is situation in light of their needs
- Recognising the most suitable and relevant areas to address and forming the relevant overall strategy with the Client
- Identifying the best plan of action, supporting the Client with innovative approaches and solutions to meet business challenges and opportunities
- Assist the Client in establishing a governance to optimise resources and efforts

About your profile
- Robust experience in the Financial Services industry, and specifically in the field of Banking, whether in Corporate, Retail or Private (Relationship Manager, Payments, Loans, Portfolio Management, Trading, Wealth Management, Asset Management etc.)
- An expertise in digital banking and trends (e.g. embedded finance, Open Banking, Instant Payments, conversational banking, customer onboarding and engagement, BNPL, VRPs, Web 3…) is required
- Master’s degree or equivalent in Business, MBA is a plus
- A minimum of 10 years of relevant work experience, preferably in consultancy and/or banking
- Solid experience in successfully liaising and building partnerships with C-suite
- Very strong track record in working on strategic projects and in team, with a coordinating role
- Familiarity with SCRUM, Agile environments (certification is a plus)
- Strong analytical and communication skills
- Active listener, problem solver
- Experience in facilitating workshops with heterogeneous stakeholder groups is a must
- An entrepreneurial and open mind as well as an ability to work well under pressure
- Be passionate about new technology
- Fluent in French and English, German is an asset
- Willingness to travel and work on site at clients
- Flexibility to regularly travel from one ELCA location to another
