Business Solutions Developer / Architect
In this role
- You’ll be responsible for the design, architecture and implementation of our business solutions and their underlying products
- You’ll work on challenging projects in various industries, using state of the art technologies (e.g. Java, Angular, etc.) and market-leading products
- You’ll use your expert knowledge in the following areas: defining customer requirements, software architecture, analysis and design, programming and testing
- You’ll be actively involved in creating solution concepts and developing project proposals
- You’ll support the business development / sales team and offer technical consulting to clients

About your profile
You have a degree from a technical institute, university or college and have at least two years’ experience in analysis, design and development in a Java environment. For Zurich, Bern and Basel you need very good German and good English language skills. In addition, your strengths include teamwork, flexibility, highly-developed customer orientation and technical expertise.
- Very good knowledge of Java
- Good frontend JavaScript, Angular or React knowledge
- Experience with modern agile software development (Continuous Integration, Automation Testing)
- Java frameworks for dependency injection, O/R mapping and access control (Spring, Hibernate)
- Knowledge of Java EE server platforms such as Apache Tomcat or JBoss AS
- Relational databases (Oracle or SQL Server)
- XML, XSLT, JSON
- Network and middleware (SOAP, REST, Message Queue, ESB)
- Windows and Unix/Linux operating systems
