Fighting fraud, improving ticketing security with AI and Machine Learning (Diploma Thesis/Internship)


TIXnGO provides a software-as-a-service platform for secure mobile ticketing. It’s built on the cloud on top of blockchain technology. It can be integrated with any primary ticketing solution that keeps the responsibility of selling the tickets and sending them to an access control solution. TIXnGO delivers the tickets to the spectators in a secure manner, though iOS and Android Mobile Apps. The solution is primarily designed for ticketing in live entertainment, sports, tournaments, museums, and festivals. The aims of our solutions are: upgrade security, reduce fraud, and digitalize event organisers’ audience.

To achieve these goals, we are looking for a highly motivated and skilled talent who will be in charge of building AI and Machine learning systems and couple them with our existing blockchain solution.

In this role

  • Build and implement an artificial intelligence and machine learning system.
  • Develop deep learning models and provide directions, standards and best practices for the engineering and sales teams.
  • Develop machine learning algorithms and techniques that will provide data driven solutions to our customer toughest challenges.
  • Establish fraud mitigation strategies and blacklisting decisions in an efficient way.
  • Identify the holders of multiple wallets and fake identities, fight ticketing black market and block unauthorized resellers.
  • Detects fraudsters and unauthorized behaviors related to ticket transfers and resales.
  • Identify best strategies to reduce the no-show ratios during shows and events.
  • Identify risky transfer and resale paths and block them to improve the security during the events and shows.

Project applications: live entertainment, sports, tournaments, museums, and festivals.


What you will learn: You will be a junior data scientist, and you will be in a work environment that will boost your skills in Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence (deep learning, object detection and recognition…), software development, Cloud based architectures, Blockchain and other technologies like Java, Ethereum, Go, Flutter, IOS and Android mobile app development.

About your profile

  • Required: machine learning, deep learning, artificial intelligence, computer vision, mobile app development…
  • Software engineering: Java, deep learning libraries, mobile API (iOS, Android), GO, Blockchain, Ethereum, familiar with Python or another machine learning coding platform.
