General Counsel H/F
In this role
As our legal counsel you will :
- Coach and develop our legal team (5 people) so that they are able to thrive in the constantly changing field of an IT service provider
- Provide expert and strategic legal advice to management in the rapidly evolving field of high-tech and digitalization.
- Advise on a range of day-to-day legal issues related to our entities based in Europe / North Americas (frequently on frontline topics, e.g., use of blockchain technology in the healthcare sector) and draft project agreements
- Serve as key lawyer/legal advisor on all major business transactions, including acquisitions, divestitures and joint ventures
- Set internal governance policies and manage the impact of external factors. Ensure business is conducted in compliance with applicable laws and regulations
- Deliver advice on how to manage legal risk and report the risks to key management teams
- Work directly with the company's executives, customers, vendors, and other business
- Train and coach executives in all relevant legal topics

About your profile
- Previous experience in a general counsel role, within a Software Company (digital products, cloud services particularly important) will be considered an advantage
- Excellent knowledge and understanding of contract law (incl. relevant areas of public law, e.g., public tendering) in Switzerland. Knowledge of European and the North America legal framework would be an advantage.
- Master or equivalent / higher degree in law followed by at least 15 years of experience in contract and corporate law
- Excellent communication skills in German and English (French is a plus)
