(Internship) How can project management standards improve ticketing projects?


Develop your hands-on understanding of a project management standard, such as PRINCE2, ISO 21502, or PMBOK, by evaluating if a leading ticketing software company, based in Lausanne, delivering major events on 4 continents, implements these standards appropriately or not. Make recommendations to facilitate coordination between local and nearshore/offshore teams, enhance interactions between our company and our customers, and tell us how to improve!

Project application: Major Ticketing Software Solution delivery, as used by Paléo, UEFA Euro 2020, Wimbledon, and several hundred other institutions worldwide.

What you will learn: Get an introduction into project management activities in a fast-moving company handling complex projects with fixed deadlines, get behind-the-scenes and see how large ticketing sales are handled, experience the buzz of seeing thousands of visitors accessing ticketing sales portals.

In this role

In this project, the goal is to develop personal knowledge of project management standards and audit a complex real-life situation through interviews with key company managers. Compare processes described in standards with real practices, and identify gaps. Write a report summarizing key findings, and if time allows, take responsibility for evangelizing internally on some key recommendations to improve.
