(Internship) Optimize the management of compliance documentation in a corporate wiki

At ELCA, the TrustID team is managing compliance-related documentation in the corporate wiki (Confluence, by Atlassian). Unfortunately, it lacks some functionalities to manage compliance documents efficiently:

  • Possibility to give a “version number” to a page, incl. tracking of the author(s), the reviewer(s), the description of the changes and the date.
  • Display a cartridge with the version history on the top of the page.
  • Possibility to insert a link anywhere pointing to a specific version of a page.
  • Possibility to copy a set of pages, including all the pages that are being referenced by it (recursively), at a given point in time / version, into a new location.

In this role

  • Learn about Confluence
  • Understand the constraints/challenges we have related to compliance document management.
  • Suggest one or multiple solutions to optimize our workflow
  • Learn about Confluence plugin development
  • Write one or multiple Confluence plugins to provide us with the missing functionalities.
