(Internship/Master Thesis) Desktop as a Service Business modeling

The way of working has drastically changed due to extensive work from home policies during the pandemic. At Elca Cloud Services, we offer technological solution on Elca Cloud and Microsoft Azure to provide virtual desktop and application management. Our challenge to you is to transform our technical solutions in an out-of-the-box product solution.

Challenges: In this project, you will have to use business modeling and management skills to develop the full model canvas, business plan and operational processes, as well as use your technical & architectural skills of IT systems to implement the engineering activities and product deployment stages. You will have to use technical skills to script and realize in a industrial process the defined solution. You will be able to test and validate hypothesis and actively participate in the marketing strategy.

Project applications: Digital Workplace / Application Streaming / Corporate IT

What you’ll learn: You will be in the fore front of this product modeling. You will learn about private cloud and Microsoft azure solutions, managed services, and solution development.

Possible extensions: In regard to this subject, the participation to a delivery of an IT project to a customer and/or activities related to the consultancy team can be possible.

In this role

In this project, the goal is to:

  • Define and validate the business model of DaaS
  • Market analysis of solutions
  • Establish processes of setup and operations
  • Define pricing and modules
  • Define technical architecture and scripts
  • Setup environment in our demo tenant
