Patient enabling (Internship)

In this role

Patients no longer want to be an observer but play an active role during their treatment / therapy. On the premise that most people own a mobile device, patients and care teams are provided with a dedicated app to provide feedback and to record treatment-related data, such as medication, drug compliance, care information, etc.

The goal of this internship it the development of a mobile app (iPad) that allows the recording and monitoring of treatment-related data. Collected data is contextualised and drug compliance is ensured, thus avoiding unnecessary consultations whilst receiving medical feedback.

Connecting and integrating the app with the Swiss electronic patient record (EPD) and relevant data sources, such as sensors, play also an important part.
