Projects Division Manager (local contract of 2 years to Ho-Chi-Minh / Vietnam)

In this role

As a Projects Division Manager, you will be responsible for :

  • Monitoring the pipeline of projects, both development and maintenance, to forecast and to take actions with regard to resources need
  • Assigning projects to the suitable PL in appropriate group, establishing project scenario with GLs, taking into account mitigation measures for high level risks
  • Staffing projects with sufficient and suitable resources, ensuring projects start with right conditions
  • Validating project scenarios (CFReview)
  • Monitoring the projects critical indicators: scope, quality and budget, and taking appropriate preventive and corrective measures with GLs and GD
  • Solving escalated issues from groups with GD
  • Supervising corporate metrics in resources, deadlines, quality and budget
  • Monitoring and improve the specific processes in these activities
  • Ensuring sufficient skills through training and recruitment
  • Ensuring sufficient expertise in the company
  • Ensuring sufficient  workforce in groups and global balance between teams
  • Providing necessary coaching and mentoring for next level

About your profile

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science
  • Minimum 12 years of overall experience in software development and proven experience in managerial position
  • Thorough understanding of project/program management techniques and methods
  • Excellent knowledge of performance evaluation and change management principles
  • Excellent problemsolving and decision-making
  • Outstanding leadership and organizational skills
  • Team motivation (clear performance expectations and goal setting to focus on longterm success of the company)
  • Effective communication
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office; working knowledge of program/project management software (MS Project etc.) is a strong advantage
  • Fluency in English communication
  • German or French language is a plus
