Support Engineer L2
In this role
As the main interface between Neosis’ customers and its internal and external development and infrastructure teams, the Support Engineer document, investigates and resolves various issues reported by the customer’s own internal support teams, in compliance with the given service level objectives and according to the processes in place. Their helpful disposition and customer-centric attitude allows them to rapidly build up a rapport with Neosis’ customers, partners and internal teams, allowing them to actively contribute to everyone’s success.
Secondary responsibilities include maintaining the knowledge base, in which they collect questions, problems and requests, documenting all their solutions respective solutions, monitoring systems to treat problems as they arise as well as providing different groups with essential data in the form of reports and status updates.

About your profile
- Freshly graduated (Bachelor minimum) until 3 years experience
Hard Skills
- Basic understanding of Java (ability to read and understand logs, to troubleshoot desktop and server environments and understand the inner workings of various applications)
- Familiarity with the following platforms: OKD/OpenShift, Linux and Windows as well as related monitoring systems.
- Experience with databases and their management tools, especially SQL Server and MongoDB
- Previous experience with any of the following tools represent a plus: Jira, Wildfly, RabbitMQ, Keycloack
- Basic understanding of the Swiss 3-pillar system
Soft Skills
- Strong technical instincts with a focus on problem-solving
- Technical curiosity, willingness to learn about a wide variety of applications
- Good verbal and written communication skills in French and English. German and Italian a plus.
- Structured and organized, with a capacity to set priorities according to the situation.
