The increasing digitalization of the industries and services is shifting business models from selling product or devices to pay-per-use models and recurring services (cloud services, Mobility-as-a-Service, smart metering & IoT, …). Traditional ERP centric architectures are pushed to their limits and monetizing the data and finding the right business model are challenges that many sectors are facing. High costs and lengthy time-to-markets for small- scale products stop managers of established companies in their innovation path, opening the door for disruption by start-ups and digital-native service providers.

Companies must now urgently implement AMP solutions such as Opencell to facilitate business model innovation and align IT applications to business needs. The partnership between ELCA and Opencell creates an opportunity for firms to enhance and automate new digitalized service development. The functional depth of Opencell’s platform, coupled with a cutting-edge open source technology stack and pre-configured templates adapted to your industry vertical, make it possible to quickly implement the solution as a total or partial replacement of existing ERP or billing solutions. The alliance between ELCA and Opencell will thus provide Swiss firms with the ability to launch new products on a platform that guarantees quick time-to-market as well as full scalability and agility.
