Innovation Roundtable: "Trust in Digital Health" a discussion hosted by ELCA

EPFL Innovation Park in Lausanne - March 17th 2020

The next stop on the DayOne Innovation Management Roundtable Journey is with ELCA at the EPFL Innovation Park in Lausanne. ELCA have chosen the topic of Trust in Digital Health and will be facilitating a deep dive on this topic.

March 17th, 2020
13:00 - 16:30
EPFL Innovation Park - Lausanne
The event takes place in an exclusive setting and is therefore free of charge

The workshop is about “Trust in Digital Health” and ELCA and DayOne will be collaborating with input from the audience to do a deep dive on this topic.

The Innovation Management Roundtable is designed to give participants a chance to discuss the following three questions:

  • How can innovative technologies streamline / accelerate the cost refunding process?

  • How do companies ensure trust and fairness in the value-exploitation of data?

  • How can patients trust, that the data they share with companies is used only for the defined purposes?

ELCA will be hosting this event in the ELCA Lab in the EPFL Innovation Park, and after some input presentations on the topic of Trust in Digital Health we will conduct the deep dive on above mentioned questions.

Trust is a key component of healthcare, whether it be between the patient and healthcare providers, patients and their insurers, or between different players in this ecosystem. The growing use of digital tools provides an opportunity to improve healthcare, but innovation is only likely to be possible if trust is maintained.

  • Pierre-Francois Regamey - CIO, CHUV

  • Laurence Bermejo Dubois - Division Manager, ELCA

This event combines the DayOne network and ELCA’s contacts in the region of Lausanne, and in addition to discussions on the topic we hope that it will lead to some new connections across Switzerland.
