Manager / Business Analyst for Professional Services Sumex


Sumex is a digital invoice verification solution tailored to the needs of Swiss health and accident insurance companies. Sumex replaces the manual checking of paper invoices with automated, digitized processes; the system brings flexibility to the electronic claims process and enables savings of millions of francs every year, thereby reducing healthcare costs in Switzerland.

We are looking for a passionate, pragmatic, interdisciplinary Manager for our location in Zurich with a technical background to be responsible for key customers of the Sumex Suite.

  • You will be responsible for customer projects from the initialization to the delivery and bugfixing
  • Your projects include onboarding of new customers to use our product, migration to new versions, customizations and maintenance under SLA
  • You will be the main contact point for customers and coordinate with other project managers regarding priorities and resources
  • You ensure projects are delivered on-time, within scope, quality and budget
  • You perform risk management to minimize project risks, propose and implement appropriate remedial actions when required
  • You lead meetings with clients and business workshops and technical workshops with help of experts in the area
  • You analyze, formalize and manage business requirements in close cooperation with the clients and the internal stakeholders
  • You lead the maintenance of customer extensions of the product in adherence to the agreed SLA
  • You consult the customer on how to use the product properly and handover to specialized business analysts if necessary
  • You lead project offerings and estimations

About your profile

For this vacancy, we are looking for a candidate with academic degree of a technical university or university of applied sciences and multiple years’ experience of working at the interface between business and IT. Knowledge in the business domain of insurances and/or the Swiss Healthcare-System is an advantage, but not a mandatory requirement.

  • You show a distinct customer focus and entrepreneurial thinking
  • You have excellent written and verbal communication skills, both client-facing and internal
  • You are an organizational talent including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills
  • You can work well under pressure and with multiple projects in parallel
  • You have practical knowledge of business analysis
  • You show agility, a strong sense of commitment and the discipline to focus
  • You have practical knowledge of requirements engineering,
    project management and controlling
  • You have very good German and good English language skills
