HR Manager


As HR Manager you will be responsible for all HR topics related to Switzerland globally. You will work closely with the different specialists of the HR Department (Labour Law, C&B, Admin & Payroll, Recruitment, Learning & Development) in order to provide the best services to the managers and employees of your scope

In this role

Business and service oriented, you will liaise with other regions (Mauritius & Vietnam) and HR specialists on sharing best practices and support or manage Global ad hoc projects. You will also assist the Chief of Human Resources to work on regional and Global Projects such as building culture and values, compensation projects & salary benchmarking (with C&B Specialist), organizational design, succession planning.  


In order to provide effective and human business partner support to advise managers, you create an approachable and supportive service and 'go to' department for all employees alike.

 You will be responsible for building strong relationships across the business, for each business line and countries. You will be a true brand ambassador and one of the point of contact for the business as a trusted partner and colleague.


Key responsibilities of the role:


  • Strong HR leader to drive HR for the Swiss population (approx 700)
  • Lead the Swiss HR team (5 people) as well as administrative team - HR advisors, Compensation &Benefits Manager, Learning & Development Manager
  • To act as the single point of contact for the employees and managers in the business line
  • Contribute to and support the delivery of the HR strategy in line with business objectives
  • Drive and deliver HR initiatives to support business needs, such as talent development, employee engagement, performance review and organizational change
  • Working closely with HR teams to identify opportunities and areas of improvement
  • Providing the business lines with professional HR advice and operational support

About your profile

Candidate requirements:

  • Master degree in HR / Business School with significant experience in international HR in Switzerland
  • At least 8 years HR experience in a dynamic environment
  • Proven track record in leading a world class HR function in Switzerland and great experience working with Swiss labor law 
  • Excellent business partnering skills and ability to work with senior management and business units – coaching, advising and becoming a trusted advisor
  • Experience leading a small HR team  
  • Project management skills in a dynamic change environment
  • Outstanding communication skills – positive influencing skills
  • Fluent English and French essential, German is a plus
  • The position will be based in Geneva
