ESG at ELCA

We are committed to the pragmatic implementation of clearly defined framework conditions and goals in all ESG areas, as well as to continuous improvement

The ESG@ELCA unit aligns sustainability efforts with the Group’s strategy, overseeing initiatives and publishing both the Sustainability and Greenhouse Gas (GHG) Reports. Global programs like “Team for the Planet” are coordinated centrally, while subsidiaries lead local efforts, fostering employee ownership and community engagement.

The ELCA Group’s Sustainability Report 2024 offers a comprehensive overview of our environmental, social, and governance (ESG) initiatives, reflecting the values and actions of over 2,300 employees across five continents. This year’s report emphasizes two focal points: the ELCA Group Materiality Assessment, which identifies strategic priorities through internal and external analysis as well as the reporting of concrete actions and results in 2024. 

 

Both reports include the setting of measurable targets for the upcoming years. Testimonials of employees all over the world, humanize the data, underscoring that meaningful change stems from individual commitment and action.
