Data Transfer Platform (DTP):  efficient, secure and flexible data exchanges

As many others, this organization anticipates the growing demand to share confidential, personal data with their operational partners and governments in order to improve communication and strengthen collaboration. However, for many organizations, data sharing is currently done in an ad hoc fashion with only basic security protocols in place.

With this project, the goals of the customer were to:

  • Make best use of the personal data it has collected
  • Ensure efficient communication between its applications
  • Provide reliable access to the partners who deliver services to its constituents
  • Administer secure, robust data transfer to partners

The client needs a solid “Data Transfer Platform” (DTP) to allow efficient, secure and flexible data exchanges internally and with a variety of external systems of their partners and governments.

Our client currently uses DTP to support data transfers other international organizations and national governments to streamline the multiple specific processes directly affecting the communities under their purview. ELCA continues to develop new interfaces based on the above platform as well as support those already deployed.

In many ways, our engagement with the International Organization community represents the essence of what ELCA is all about – technology for humans, by humans. We’re ELCA. We make it work.
