What is FinOps?
FinOps is a portmanteau of “Finance” and “DevOps”, stressing the communications and collaboration between business and engineering teams.
This is a key discipline for companies adopting the Cloud. While the Cloud offers numerous benefits in terms of flexibility, agility, and innovation, it's essential to control the associated costs to avoid overspending.
This is an ongoing process that requires close collaboration between finance, IT, and business teams. By implementing best practices and adopting a FinOps culture, companies can fully maximize the benefits of the Cloud while controlling their costs.
