Unlock AI’s Potential for Swiss Finance - New Study Published

We are pleased to announce that a joint study by Swiss Fintech Innovations (SFTI), OST – Eastern Switzerland University of Applied Sciences, and ELCA Advisory was unveiled, highlighting a key challenge for the Swiss financial sector: how to move AI initiatives from pilot to production and scaled business impact?

The study reflects our shared commitment to helping Swiss banks and insurers move beyond pilot projects toward scalable, production-ready AI deployments. 

While many Swiss financial institutions have carried out proof-of-concepts (PoCs) or pilots with AI, only a small fraction successfully transition to full production. The study shows a clear “PoC–production gap.” 

With growing regulatory and compliance requirements in Switzerland, the road from pilot to production is often challenging. Our joint effort seeks to provide guidance, frameworks, and best practices tailored to the Swiss regulatory and operational context.
