Scaling secure IT operations to support rapid growth and regulatory requirements
As Taurus rapidly expanded from 15 to more than 100 employees, its IT environment needed to scale dynamically to support continued business growth.
Operating in the banking and financial sector, Taurus meets strong security, compliance, and availability requirements, alongside a growing need for mobility and operational flexibility.
The objective was to migrate Taurus’s IT workloads to Microsoft Azure while delivering managed workplace services and integrating additional capabilities into platform operations. Taurus also sought to externalize desktop management and required support for Azure operations due to limited internal IT resources.
Delivering a secure, Cloud-first managed platform powered by Azure and Microsoft 365
EveryWare designed and implemented a secure, scalable, cloud-first platform to support Taurus’s IT transformation.
At the foundation of the solution, an Azure Landing Zone was established to provide a secure and scalable cloud environment. To support a diverse and mobile workforce, approximately 120 Windows, Linux, and Mac laptops were deployed and secured using Microsoft Intune, ensuring compliance with FINMA requirements.
Around 200 Linux servers were onboarded to Microsoft Defender to further strengthen Taurus’s security posture. Building on this foundation, ELCA/EveryWare introduced advanced Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) capabilities, enabling comprehensive protection across endpoints. Today, Taurus benefits from a unified security ecosystem powered by Microsoft Defender EDR and Microsoft Sentinel.
In parallel, EveryWare migrated Taurus’s existing Google services to Microsoft 365, enhancing collaboration and productivity through Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, and OneDrive for Business.
To ensure continuous reliability and performance, full infrastructure monitoring provides real-time visibility across the environment. As a Managed Service Provider (MSP), EveryWare also oversees service management and security operations in collaboration with other entities across the ELCA/EveryWare Group, ensuring a secure, resilient, and efficient IT environment.

Taurus has successfully modernized its IT landscape. The new platform and the full range of services have been successfully deployed, modernizing Taurus's IT landscape. EveryWare now manage all IT operations, ensuring efficiency and security through a comprehensive managed service backend.
