Field Engineer


In this role

You will join an cloud engineering team and assist the onboarding team whose mission is to deploy and configure our Ticketing & Engagement solution, to support our customers in change management and to foster the adoption of our solution. You will manage the hardware and device deployment and maintenance for both of those teams.


Overall Responsibilities

  • Maintain list of compatible & supported standard equipment
  • Maintain inventories of deployed equipment 
  • Support project manager for activities such as equipment selection/technical validation & customized deployment activities (HW costing & deployment efforts evaluation)
  • Maintain list of certified suppliers / partners per countries
  • Maintain installation / troubleshooting equipment documentation 
  • Analyse and resolve any technical issues related to computer systems, wifi and internet connection, barcode reader, printer, and computer peripherals
  • Must be available to provide on-site servicing and rectify the major equipment issues (POS, printers, …)
  • Able to resolve onsite or remotely problems with the desktops, laptops, and printers at the component level
  • Install and reinstall software packages and updates and escalate with detailed info / logs to IT experts
  • Be able to recognise, research, isolate, resolve, and follow-up on problems
  • Handle all administrative aspects (review vendor offers, maintain standard price list, installation report on customer sites, equipment selection & ordering…) within the time limit
  • Provide feedback that includes customer information and usage reports for the equipment
  • Maintain the list of hardware install per SecuTix for each client


CE team

  • Be able to take the responsibility on simple troubleshooting CE request
  • Monitoring sales launch of major event for our client

About your profile


  • Solve problems with excellent verbal and written communication skills, understand and interpret technical terms to non technical customers
  • Stress resistant and ability to prioritize multiple activities in parallel
  • Curious/Agile and able to take initiative autonomously
  • Flexible to travel and work on various projects
  • Able to lift heavy servers/Equipment
  • Language : French / English

Work experience:

  • Prior experience in handling printer repair and document maintenance routines based on standard vendors guidelines
  • SW/HW IT Support Engineer with min 5 years prof experiences
  • The position is based in Paris.
